Official charge controls

The official Roblox description documents one action across all three platform families: Charge. It is a hold input, which means players should keep the control pressed while charging rather than tap it once.

PC controls

On PC, hold Shift to charge. The source does not specify whether left and right Shift behave identically, whether Shift Lock changes the action, or how long a full charge takes.

Use the prompt shown by your current game client if it conflicts with an old guide. Roblox experiences can remap controls during updates, and the live interface is more current than an undated screenshot.

Mobile controls

On mobile, hold the on-screen charge button. Its exact screen position can vary with device aspect ratio and interface updates, so this wiki does not describe a fixed pixel location.

If the button is hidden behind another interface element, close open menus and re-check the game HUD. Device-specific troubleshooting beyond that needs a reproducible test before being presented as a general fix.

Console controls

On console, hold R2 to charge. The official description does not list different mappings for Xbox and PlayStation-style controllers, so R2 is the only verified console prompt on this page.

Roblox may display platform-specific glyphs in the live client. Follow the current on-screen prompt when it provides more detail than the public description.

Release timing and movement

The official source does not explain maximum charge duration, release timing, steering, landing control, or camera technique. Those mechanics may be visible during play, but they require testing before a precise guide can be written.

Start by holding the verified charge input and observing the feedback shown on screen. Change one variable at a time when testing so the result is easier to interpret.

When a control does not respond

Confirm that the game window is focused, no menu is capturing the input, and you are using the prompt for your platform. Rejoin an official server after an update if the HUD and public description appear out of sync.

Never install a script or untrusted extension to repair a normal control. Report reproducible bugs through developer-owned channels when those channels are available, or use Roblox's platform support for account and client issues.
