Controls guide
Use the official hold-to-charge prompts and keep unverified movement tricks separate from confirmed controls.
Updated

The Roblox description publishes a control for Charge on all supported platform families. This is the safest baseline because it comes from the developer-owned game page rather than a copied control list.
A hold action means the input must remain down while the game charges. If your client shows a prompt that is more specific, follow the live prompt and record the difference as a possible update rather than silently replacing the official wording.
On PC, hold Shift to charge. The public source does not distinguish left Shift from right Shift, does not describe Shift Lock behavior, and does not state whether the charge is interrupted by opening a menu.
Test the control with the game window focused. If it does not respond, close menus and check that the Roblox client is not waiting for a chat or browser shortcut before concluding that the game mapping changed.
On mobile, hold the charge button displayed by the game. The exact location can vary with aspect ratio and interface changes, so this guide describes the control semantically instead of giving a brittle screen coordinate.
If the button is missing, close open panels, rejoin the experience, and compare the current HUD with the official prompt. A device-specific bug report should include the platform and current client behavior.
On console, hold R2 to charge. The public description does not provide separate mappings for different console families, so this page does not infer an alternative trigger from controller conventions.
Use the glyph shown in the live client when it gives a more precise prompt. A controller's camera or vibration behavior is not automatically evidence of a special charge bonus.
The official page does not document charge duration, release timing, steering during flight, landing controls, camera sensitivity, or a perfect-charge window. Search results and video thumbnails may suggest these features, but they need timestamped reproduction.
Until then, avoid publishing an exact input sequence as a guaranteed shortcut. A simple hold-and-observe test is safer and more useful for the current build.
Confirm the client is focused, close overlapping menus, rejoin after an update, and use the prompt for your actual platform. If the issue persists, document the platform, control, and visible HUD before reporting it through a creator-owned channel.
Do not download scripts, injectors, or browser extensions that claim to repair controls. They are not official support and can expose your Roblox account or device to risk.
